Arlat’s FC mechanical bar screens are chain and sprocket driven, front-cleaned, front-cleaned, front return, self-cleaning mechanical screens for the separation and removal of solid wastes from municipal and industrial flow systems, including storm water/CSO installations. Screens are constructed of stainless steel. There are no rotating drive parts that come into contact with the liquid. Screens are available for applications covering a wide range of flow rates and channel dimensions. Arlat has installations varying in channel sizes from 2’-0” to 9’-0” wide and 2’-0” to 33’-0” in depth, with slot widths ranging from 3/8” to 2”. All major components are of 304 stainless steel. |

The FC bar screen control system is designed and manufactured to provide variable cycle operations. Continuous rake operation is incorporated under storm flow conditions. Two (2) forms of overloads, mechanical and current overloads, protect Arlat’s bar screens. |
